Police are on the lookout for a woman who allegedly pepper sprayed the manager of a northeast Oklahoma City beauty supply store, after he foiled the suspect’s theft attempt.

The victim managed to take a clear photograph of his alleged assailant just moments before he says she pepper sprayed him in the face.

Police just released the photo of the woman on Wednesday, but the crime happened at the Mid K Beauty Supply store located in the 1800 block of NE 23rd St. back on Aug. 8.

According to the report, the victim was working when he noticed the suspect walk out of the store with merchandise without paying. The victim told police he told the suspect to come back but she kept walking, and he followed her out into the parking lot.

The victim took out his phone at this time and starting taking photos of the suspect, while still asking for her to return the merchandise. The victim then said the suspect handed over a package of fake eyelashes, but then pulled out a small blue can of pepper spray and fired it into his eyes before driving away. The victim also told police that three other women were with the suspect at the time of the assault.

Police now hope someone will recognize the woman to help bring her to justice. If you know who this woman is you are asked to call Crime Stoppers at (405) 235-7300. Callers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a cash reward.
