It was business as usual Tuesday on the Oklahoma State University (OSU) campus after some buildings were damaged during Saturday's 5.6-magnitude earthquake.

OSU officials said engineers and facilities staff responded that day to inspect the buildings and an email was sent to students, faculty and staff notifying everyone they were safe for immediate occupancy.

Days after the state's largest recorded earthquake struck, some students at OSU were still a little shaken by what happened.

Junior finance major Molly Turner was in her third floor apartment when it hit.

"The entire building just felt like it was swaying back and forth, and my biggest fear was that my apartment was going to crumble," she said.

It didn't crumble but a crack did appear on her wall.

It was a similar story on campus.

In the 4H building, there were several significant cracks on the walls.

A window broke on the concourse level of Gallagher Iba Arena.

The force of the event fractured two columns on the lower level of the student union parking garage.

But OSU reports those places and the rest of campus is safe for immediate occupancy despite the earthquake damage.

"It's definitely scary to know that we really can earthquakes of that magnitude and it scares you thinking if we could actually have one even bigger than that and how much damage it really could do," Turner told News 9.

If you see damage on the OSU campus, officials said to report it by calling (405) 744-7154 or visit fm.okstate.edu to submit the issue to a zone manager.
