Moore Schools Improving Security At Football Games

Moore and Westmoore squared off for the 29th annual "Moore War" Friday night.

Moore was trying to stop Westmoore's 15-year long winning streak.  But Friday night there was a "first."  For the first time, fans carrying a bag into the game were subject to a search for weapons.

"You know I don't know what I would do without my grandkids. We lost our home in the tornado and almost lost this one in Plaza Towers. God kept her safe so I want to continue to keep her safe,” said Bennie Banning, football game attendee.

Moore Police say the security company that is doing the searches is the same one that does it at OU Football and OKC Thunder Basketball games.
