Police: Worker Stabbed By Transient In NW OKC

The Oklahoma City Police Department is investigating after a worker is stabbed and transported to the hospital Wednesday evening.

Police say around 7:20 p.m., an employee at 7^th Bakery in the 7100 block of Melrose was taking out the trash when a transient asked him for money. The employee declined and says that's when the transient stabbed him.

The victim was transported to a local hospital in an unknown condition.

The transient has not been located and the police have not released a description at this time.
