Tulsa Police officers arrested two men after they say one of them shot a gun at a resident in an apartment complex near 64th and Peoria. Versean Walker and Donovan Walker were booked on complaints of assault and battery with a deadly weapon.

A man who lives at the Orchard apartment complex told officers the two men and a woman came to his door trying to "start trouble" with his daughters around 12:30 a.m. Monday. He told them to leave, and they refused, police said.

The father grabbed a knife and told them to leave again, according to police. When they again refused, he swung the knife at them. Police said the woman was hit in the head, and one of the men pulled out a gun and shot at the father.

He wasn't hurt.

Police said the woman who was with the men had had a run-in with the daughters about a week ago at a QuikTrip and "tried to bring a fight to their house."

"The homeowner defended himself and his daughters and was not arrested," records show.

Versean Walker, 20, and Donovan Walker, 23, were taken to the Tulsa jail. Police said they recovered guns from them.

They are each being held on a $30,000 bond.
