The Garvin County Undersheriff said on July 31, authorities attempted to arrest 25-year-old Angela Lasley for warrants worth $50,000. Undersheriff Jim Mullett said they actually had ahold of her and were about to put her in handcuffs before she slipped away and they lost her.

But a week later, they did catch up with her.

On August 7, Undersheriff Mullett said they got a tip that Lasley was in a truck at a convenience store in Wynneood.

“When he went to make contact with her she jumped out and ran again,” Mullet explained.

This time, she went through a field toward Alvera Lane.

“She ran into a house and she got into the house and the family was there,” he said.

The probable cause affidavit said a daughter first "heard the back door open and a girl ran through the house into the living room where she was."

The girl said Lasley told her "the cops were looking for her and asked if she could stay" for five minutes. The document also said despite being told to leave, her dad had to chase Lasley out the front door.

Deputies and police officers were not far behind and reportedly found her a few houses down.

The affidavit also said Lasley was holding a screw driver to her neck saying she wanted to "end it all”. And a Taser was used to get it from her and finally take her into custody, according to the affidavit.

“She had made a comment that she did not want to go back to jail,” Mullett told News 9.

But now she is back behind bars on a $100,000 bond.
