A big surprise is on the way for a 3-year-old survivor in Noble, Oklahoma.

Kayden Chaffin's mother said he's been nominated and selected for Make-A-Wish! Mom, Amanda, told News 9 they just received the good news Wednesday, and Kayden is still deciding what his wish will be.

We first told you about Kayden back in March. Amanda said Kayden was diagnosed with Spinal Muscular Atrophy. The neurologist told them 90 percent of patients don't survive to see their second birthday. But Kayden is beating the odds. He turned three this year.

Amanda said the family was able to raise enough money for a special van. They took a trip to the SMA medical conference in Disneyland last month.

Kayden is expected to meet with the Make-A-wish folks within the next few weeks!
