Cushing Holds Service And Rally For Police

The Cushing community held a prayer service and rally Tuesday night, outside the Cushing Police Department to support officers.

Families wore shirts that said Blue Lives Matter and held signs that said Back the Blue.

Cushing residents organized the event after similar events in Edmond and other metro cities earlier in the week.

Organizers said they wanted to shower their police officers with love and support in the wake of the deadly shooting deaths of five Dallas Police officers last week during a Black Lives Matter demonstration.
