OKLAHOMA COUNTY, Oklahoma - Firefighters from multiple fire departments battled a grass fire Tuesday afternoon in northern Oklahoma County.

The fire was reported about 3 p.m. near NW 178 and MacArthur Boulevard. 

Firefighters from Deer Creek, Oklahoma City, Edmond and Piedmont worked to get the fire under control.

Oklahoma City police said no homes were threatened but asked residents to avoid the area if possible.

The fire burned up an estimated 150 acres. No injuries were reported.
