A Plano, Texas teen planning to be a 2017 walk-on to the Oklahoma State baseball team has been arrested and accused of child sex crimes.

Zachary Holifield, a left-handed pitching prospect from Plano Senior high school, was arrested on June 20 and taken to the Plano City Jail on complaints of molesting a child in the bathroom of his mother’s daycare.

Oklahoma State Director of Communications Gary Shutt released a statement saying “OSU had no formal relationship with the student. He had indicated he planned to walk on in fall 2017.”

Holifield is facing one count of aggravated sexual assault of a child and one count of indecency with a child. Bond was set at $250,000 and $100,000, respectively.
