It will be hot and muggy Sunday, but like Saturday, Oklahomans will have to watch for another opportunity for showers and storms, some likely strong to severe.
Sunday, some of these storms may make it into OKC. News 9’s Meteorologist Matt Mahler says, “We’ll have to see where the cold front sets up, because that will be where we see storms initially.”
Wind and hail will be the main threats along with some flash flooding. Sunday night, the activity moves east.
Monday, for July 4th, the stalled, lingering front may spark a few more showers and storms, mainly in southern Oklahoma. Just a slight chance for OKC.
Have a backup plan ready to go for any outdoor activities Sunday and Monday should you find storms around you!
