ME's Office Evacuated After Suspicious Device Found On Body

The all-clear has been given  at  the Medical Examiner’s office after a suspicious device was discovered on a body, Friday.

The Oklahoma City Bomb Squad confirmed that the device was not a threat. 

According to Oklahoma City Police, the evacuation was made after an employee found the device on the body of a suicide victim. The ME's office is located at NE 8th St. and N. Stonewall Ave.

A spokesperson for the ME's office tells News 9 that the body came in around 8 a.m. When employees unzipped the body bag, they saw what looked like a flare on the torso.
