Hundreds gathered together Saturday afternoon in Crossroads Church for a somber remembrance of three lives cut short.

Tony, Jerry and Dana Gray were flying in a small Cirrus SR-20 propeller airplane from Norman to Houston's Hobby Airport. They were on their way to visit Tony and Jerry's sick father in southeast Texas.

According to the National Transportation Safety Board investigation, the plane may have stalled during landing and although it was equipped with a parachute, it never deployed.

All three were killed on impact. No one on the ground was hurt.

The Gray family declined to comment Saturday afternoon.

"We will miss them, their smiles, laughs, and all the love and joy they instilled into our family. We have our memories and we know that God has gained 3 angels," the family said in a previous statement.
