Former Choctaw Elementary Teacher Accused Of Inappropriate Relationship
CHOCTAW, Oklahoma - Investigators with the Choctaw Police Department filed a search warrant after learning of an alleged inappropriate relationship between a 26-year-old teacher and a 13-year-old student.
The teacher had been working at Choctaw Elementary School for more than two years, according to the Superintendent. But she recently resigned after a middle school student told police the two had been in an inappropriate relationship for the last five months.
In the affidavit, the boy said he and the teacher exchanged naked photos. He said they had communicated via text and SnapChat.
He said he exposed himself to her "on several occasions and that she had told him to put it away." But as weeks went by, he said the relationship took a turn and the teacher "began talking to him in a sexual manner."
The boy said she also took him Bricktown for his birthday this past April and on the drive home she touched him.
But on May 15, the victim said he received a long message from the teacher "telling him they needed to break up."
Police said in an interview with the teacher, she corroborated the inappropriate communication and contact, but blamed the incidents on the student.
At last check, investigators were waiting on the results from the search warrant looking at her phone and laptop.
No formal charges have been filed.
