Charges were filed Tuesday in Logan County in connection with the stabbing death of Adam Harrison, 28, earlier this month.

The affidavit said a young couple was staying at a home between Edmond and Guthrie when two men came over. The tenants left them alone with their guests.

In the overnight hours of May 2, court documents said Kylee Arnold and Adam Harrison went to put their child to bed, and the two men, Michael Chisholm and Jesus Sanchez, kept knocking on their bedroom door.

When Harrison told them to be quiet, the documents said the fight began.

District Attorney Laura Thomas said the men held Harrison down and tried to wrap him in duct tape. They are accused of firing a gun next to Harrison's head, stabbing him at least eight times and demanded the couple’s pickup keys.

Court documents said Arnold tried to intervene, but one of the attackers "told her to go back into the room or he would kill her."

They ended up getting away on foot. Thomas said Tabatha Lehr drove the accused killers to the Economy Inn near Interstate 35 and NE 122nd in Oklahoma City.

That's where Chisholm got rid of his bloody clothes and smoked meth, investigators said.

Sanchez and the accused getaway driver were picked up in a traffic stop where agents recovered the knife and gun. Documents state Chisholm was arrested a few days later.

Sanchez and Chisholm were charged conjointly and together with murder in the first degree. Lehr was charged with accessory after the fact, according to Thomas.
