EDMOND, Oklahoma - A school yard attack is caught on camera at Edmond North High. Edmond police are now involved and charges could come soon.

One Edmond North student has already been cited for disorderly conduct. But Edmond Police told News 9 an aggravated assault charge is possible.

No names have been released.

In the video, you can clearly see one male student viciously punch another male student. That continues until a female student steps in and stops the attack.

Police also told News 9 that everyone involved is a juvenile. One student has been cited for disorderly conduct, but no charges have been filed.

Officials with Edmond Public Schools released the following statement,

"Due to federal privacy laws, we cannot release information on the consequences the student received. Under our discipline policy, the range of consequences could include detention to suspension.

The aggressor's behavior toward another student is reprehensible. We applaud the students who took action to help stop the aggressor."
