A Georgia woman is behind bars after a traffic stop on Interstate 40 in Canadian County lead deputies to 26 pounds of drugs.

It happened Monday night near the eastbound 113 mile marker on I-40.

Canadian County Undersheriff Chris West said 31-year-old Angela Baldridge was pulled over after committing three different driving infractions.

West said shortly after Baldridge gave the arresting deputy consent to search, K-9 officer Ruckus helped locate a hidden compartment in the back of the Cadillac Baldridge was driving.

That compartment was holding 25 bags of marijuana, and a marijuana extract called "Shatter.”

West said the street value of the drugs was close to half a million dollars.

“Anytime somebody is coming through our county trafficking, we want to get to it. These drugs were probably headed to Atlanta,” West said.

West said Baldridge has a criminal history for drug offenses and assault and battery.
