Injury Crash Involving Semis Reported On EB I-40 In OKC

Emergency crews responded to an injury crash involving a vehicle and two semis on Interstate 40 on the west side of the metro, Wednesday afternoon.

First responders were called out to the scene on reports of a pickup sandwiched between two semis on the eastbound side of I-40 near Portland Ave. Authorities had to shut down two lanes of the interstate while crews work the scene.

The identity of the victim and that person's condition is not known at this time. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
