The 2016 NFL Draft is nine days away and several in-state players expect to hear their names called. Here’s a look at some of the prospects and where they could be drafted according to the latest mocks. CBSSports.com’s latest projections have seven such players being selected.

Emmanuel Ogbah – OSU – most mocks have Ogbah going in the late first to early second rounds. There are tons of good defensive ends and edge players in the 2016 class and that has hurt the All-American’s once Top 5 draft stock. Still, to end up on a team like Seattle (No. 26), Kansas City (No. 28) or Carolina (No. 30) wouldn’t be a bad consolation.

Sterling Shepard – OU – projected to be a second or third-rounder. Shepard is the type of receiver that could fit on any team as a slot guy and/or punt returner. He’s behind Laquon Treadwell, Corey Coleman, Josh Doctson and Will Fuller but could be the fifth receiver taken off the board. CBS Sports says late second round to Carolina.

Charles Tapper – OU – again, the depth at Tapper’s position in this draft is why he’s not projected higher. The versatile lineman could go earlier but CBSSports.com has him in the fourth round to Denver.

Zack Sanchez – OU – looks to be another middle rounder, anywhere from third to fifth round based on his athleticism and nose for the football. Right now CBS Sports has Philadelphia taking him 153rd overall.

Dominique Alexander – OU – the linebacker shocked Sooner fans and coaches alike by leaving early. Especially considering he’s not projected any higher than the fifth round. Right now 160th overall to Minnesota who always needs linebacker depth.

Keyarris Garrett – TU – showed he has NFL talent when he hauled in 14 passes for 189 yards and one ridiculous Hail Mary touchdown catch against OU. He’s a mid-to-late round prospect with upside who’s currently going to Receiver Hades, Kansas City, in the CBS Sports mock.

Eric Striker – OU – didn’t measure out very well at the combine, but has the intangibles to be a valuable asset to an NFL team. He’s projected as early as fourth round and as late as seventh. Currently going in the sixth to San Diego.
