So, who's ready for some rain? It's coming!
First of all, note the Flood Watch. OKC is now included. It begins Saturday evening through Monday morning. A total of 3-6" of rain is likely within the area shaded in blue.
Rain chances stay relatively low Saturday morning, but by the afternoon and evening, it'll become a soaker! A few strong storms aren't out of the question for western Oklahoma Saturday evening. The tornado threat is quite low, but not zero.
Rain and storm chances ramp up Sunday into Monday morning before this wave moves out Monday afternoon.
Don't be surprised if the rain totals in the forecast shift a little here and there. The takeaway, someone west of I-35 could pick up over 8 inches of rain.
