The McClain County Sheriff's office is warning people about someone who may be trying to impersonate police officers.

The McClain County Sheriff's department posted on its Facebook page that it was on Tuesday around 6 p.m. someone driving a white unmarked newer model Chevy Tahoe was trying to pull over other drivers by honking the horn and flashing headlights. It had a visible spot light on the driver side, no red or blue lights.

The suspect is described as about 6-feet tall, heavy set Hispanic man wearing glasses, and short black hair spiked in the front. He was apparently wearing black pants and a white collared Polo shirt with a clip on badge and identifies himself as Officer Sanchez of Lindsey police.

This sounds very similar to an incident we told you about in Blanchard back in February. Three women there reported a similar situation, matching the description of what happened in McClain County.

You're asked to call 911 of the McClain County Sheriff's Office if you see this man or that car.  And if you ever question who's pulling you over, authorities said you can call 911 and ask dispatch for to confirm if an officer is at your location.
