Police Investigating Reported 'Sexual Incident' At Norman High

Police in Norman are investigating an incident that was “sexual in nature” at Norman High School.

Few details are known at this time. Police have only confirmed that they are investigating and that a male and a female student are involved.

Norman Public Schools superintendent Dr. Joseph Siano released the following statement regarding the incident:

“We received a report on Thursday of an incident involving two students. School officials immediately met with the student who reported the incident and that student’s parent. Based upon the student’s report we contacted the police and suspended the other student pending an investigation, which is our practice in situations such as this. We are currently assisting the reporting student and their family and are also cooperating with the police as they investigate the report.”
