Who says movie making is for Hollywood big shots.
The Old Time Museum in Enid harkens back to a glorious time, life in the old west. The photo op comes courtesy of two brothers, who've turned this one time western store into an old movie saloon set and stage for their western movies.
Larry Simpson has learned the art of improvising. He produces.
Rick Simpson writes and directs.
The brothers star in their family adventures as the heroes. Their debut film came in 1997.
“The first one I would call it disgustingly bad, but it was pretty boring.”
The films have gotten better. “Canyon Trail” is the brothers’ sixth film, which tells the story of a vicious group of outlaws terrorizing ranchers.
This past week, Canyon Trail debuted in Enid with near 1,100 people in attendance.
The event was a way for the Simpson’s to share their passion with others and a way to thank all those who helped.
