Slow Cooker Pumpkin Butter
1 fresh cooking pumpkin, skin removed and cubed
6 apples, cubed (keep skin on)
1 cup apple juice
2 tablespoon pumpkin pie spice
1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
Add all of the ingredients into a slow cooker and cook on HIGH for 4 hours and then on LOW for 8 hours. Using an immersion blender or blender blend the ingredients till it is smooth. Store in an airtight plastic container or can the pumpkin butter in mason jar. Make sure and follow canning instructions.
