It has been another warm day with above average highs in the 80s and low 90s. We’ll continue with the partly cloudy skies here Thursday evening, as temperatures fall into the 70s under a light south breeze.

There will not be much change overnight, with temperatures continuing to slowly fall into the middle to upper 60s. Our normal low now is in the upper 50s to low 60s across the state.

There will be another warm start and another warm afternoon for our Friday under a sun and cloud mix. We’ll have a small chance of a shower or two across mainly western and northwestern Oklahoma. Highs will range from low 80s northwest to near 90 degrees down by the Red River.

Over the weekend, a weak storm system moves in from the north and could bring more clouds on Saturday with some spotty showers. The exact track isn’t set in stone, but could add a little kink in the forecast for Saturday.

As of right now we’ll say a small chance of a few showers especially across the western half of the state. Otherwise we’ll see partly to mostly cloudy skies, light winds and temperatures in the 70s west to upper 80s east.

By Sunday the storm system drifts southwest of the area as we get to enjoy more sunshine and temperatures remaining above normal in the 80s. Looking ahead to next week we’ll continue with the dry weather & very warm temperatures.
