The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says two Skiatook teens were injured in an ATV crash in Washington County Sunday afternoon.

Troopers said the crash occurred just before 3 p.m. on County Road 3960 almost four miles west of Vera.

The OHP says the 2003 Polaris ATV, driven by Garret Massey, 19, was westbound when he swerved to avoid a car backing out of a driveway and rolled the ATV.  Massey and his passenger, an unidentified 17-year-old girl, were both flown by helicopter to a Tulsa hospital.

Massey was treated and released, the girl was admitted with head and leg injuries.

Troopers said neither one was wearing a helmet.
