An Oklahoma City Police officer was transported to the hospital after he was injured during a traffic stop overnight.
It happened near S.W. 25th and Kentucky. The department told News 9 that officer is expected to be OK.
The officer pulled over someone driving a tan-colored, older model Lincoln. But while the officer was talking to the driver, the driver took off and ran over the officer's foot.
Police said the officer managed to hobble back into his patrol car and chased the suspect down. With the help of stop sticks, the driver, later identified as Exzanty Moore, was pulled over at S.W. 35th and Blackwelder and gave up without incident.
Moore was arrested and will face several charges.
