Suspect, Game Warden Injured Attempting To Serve Search Warrant In Pott. County

One suspect and a state game warden were injured when authorities attempted to serve a search warrant in a rural area near Macomb, Okla. on Friday.

One suspect and a state game warden were injured when authorities attempted to serve a search warrant in a rural area near Macomb, Okla. on Friday.

Sheriff’s deputies in Pottawatomie County along with the state game warden were out serving the search warrant at a home in a remote area east of State Highway 102 on Red Earth Rd. when the suspect took off.

While fleeing the suspect ran off a cliff into a ravine and was injured. News 9 is told the game warden was also injured during the chase, but it is unclear how. The severity of the injuries is not known at this time.
