One Person Hospitalized After Being Stabbed In NW OKC

One person was taken to a hospital Tuesday night after being stabbed in northwest Oklahoma City, police said.

The incident was reported about 10 p.m. Tuesday in the area of NW 16 Street and Virginia Avenue, just west of the Plaza District. 

Police said the incident began as a domestic dispute and escalated into an assault. 

Police are looking for the attacker who ran away from the scene. Police are not sure what started the dispute. 

The condition of the hospitalized person was not known Tuesday night, and police have not released the identity of the victim.
