Police Break Up Brawl Reported Outside Stillwater Apartment Complex

One person was arrested after Stillwater Police were called out to investigate a large brawl at an apartment complex early Sunday morning.

Police were called out to the Aspen Heights apartment complex around 1:30 a.m. on Sunday after a caller reported “about 100 people” involved in a fight in progress in the area. Several officers involved and reported seeing a large crowd of people in the street in the 800 and 900 blocks of E. Crested Butte Dr.

Police say the crowd quickly dispersed when they arrived, but one man identified as Avery Brown, refused to leave. Brown was arrested and booked for Failure to Obey a Lawful Order and could face a fine.

So far there have not been any reports of injuries.
