Crews Respond To Fatal Accident On SB H.E Bailey Turnpike In Cotton Co.

The southbound lanes of H.E. Bailey Turnpike on Interstate 44 were shut down in Cotton County, Oklahoma due to a fatality crash Friday evening.

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, at around 8:30 p.m. Friday, crews responded to the report of a fatal crash in the southbound lanes of I-44, H.E. Bailey Turnpike, at mile marker 11 in Cotton County. Traffic was moving slowly and being diverted at mile marker 20 southbound. 

The southbound lanes were reopened at around 1:30 a.m. Saturday.
