Crews Respond To Deadly Crash On I-44 At NW 10th In OKC

Emergency crews are responding to a deadly auto-pedestrian crash on Interstate 44 at N.W. 10th Street in Oklahoma City, Wednesday morning.

According to the Oklahoma Department of Transportation, the westbound I-44 (going south) on-ramp from N.W. 10th St. is closed, and westbound I-44 is narrowed to two lanes at N.W. 10th St. as crews investigate a deadly auto-pedestrian crash.

Authorities believe it was a hit-and-run. The victim has not been identified.

These closures are expected to continue for several hours. Drivers should expect heavy congestion and seek an alternate route, such as I-235 and I-40.
