OKC Police Investigate Homicide After Missing Man's Remains Found

Oklahoma City police are investigating the death of a man, whose remains were found in April between Luther and Wellston.

Oklahoma City police are investigating the death of a man, whose remains were found in April between Luther and Wellston. 

According to police, the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation has been working a case of found human remains since April 5.  The remains were located off of Highway 66 between Luther and Wellston, and were identified by the State Medical Examiner’s Office as those of 49-year-old Pierre Cleveland. 

Cleveland had trauma to his body consistent with homicide, according to police. He was listed as a missing person in Oklahoma City back on July 11, 2014.

Police said they obtained information that Cleveland was killed in Oklahoma City, so Oklahoma City police homicide investigators will be working the case.
