OKLAHOMA CITY - A peaceful pond in a northwest Oklahoma City apartment community saw more than a subtle breeze and several geese on Sunday. A bold man in his birthday suit made a big splash.

“It was crazy. I heard a bunch of firemen, ambulance, policemen out here,” said resident Kyonal Covarrubias.

Officials responded to NW 50 Street and Willow Cliff Roadbecause callers told police a naked man was running around the area. And when authorities arrived, they said he'd jumped in the water.

“Everybody was out here with their cameras,” Covarrubias said.

Several residents decided to press record because they couldn’t help but catch the crack-up on camera.

“He’s naked as a J-bird, so this should be interesting,” resident David Henley said to his phone’s camera, narrating the ordeal.

Fire crews brought their boat to fish him out while the police helicopter watched from overhead. It went on for more than an hour.

But police said the nude man was never in any danger. He just swam until getting caught.

He even tried to hide from police in some of the pond's brush.

“He was trying to hide from them or something. Got in the water, he was butt naked like … I’m telling you…embarrassing,” Covarrubias said.

Even more embarrassing was the fact that he stayed that way during his walk of shame.

Authorities pulled him from the water, witnesses said.

“Strutted him right across and put him in a police car,” Henley added.

From there he went to the hospital and then he was under arrest for Lewd Acts and Indecent Exposure, police said.

Residents said the skinny-dipping suspect was like nothing they'd ever seen, making for a pretty memorable day in the neighborhood.

And even though residents saw more than they bargained for Sunday afternoon when he bared it all, his name is still unknown.

Police said it will likely be released Monday.
