One Person In Custody After High Speed Chase In Del City

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol has one suspect in custody following a high speed chase through Del City, Friday afternoon.

Authorities say it started as a routine traffic stop near I-240 and Sunny Lane. The suspect finally stopped near Southeast 25th and Vickie in Del City.

One trooper crashed his unit near Lariet and Mallard but was not injured.

Jim Gardner and Bob Mills SkyNews 9 HD was there as troopers pulled a large amount of drugs out of the suspect's backpack.
