Police Look For Suspects In Armed Robbery Of Bethany 'Cash Express'

Two armed robbers rush the counter at the Cash Express near N.W. 50th and Rockwell In Bethany, Oklahoma, Friday morning.

Surveillance cameras inside the business got a good look at the robbers. The video begins around 8:30 a.m. when two suspects walk in posing as potential customers. They started filling out paperwork for a loan until employee turns her back.

The suspects then jumped the counter, pointed a gun at the employees, and demanded cash.

Bethany Police said five employees were held at gunpoint as the suspects stole more than $1,000 from the cash drawers. They also tried unsuccessfully to get money from the safe.

The suspects then ran from store into a nearby neighborhood where they jumped into a getaway car. Witnesses described that car as a 4-door, gold Nissan.
