Edmond Man Dies After Traffic Accident In Guthrie

An Edmond man died after an accident in Guthrie, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.

About 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, Tyrone Stewart, 77, was driving a pickup northbound on Broadway when the pickup went left of center and hit another pickup driving southbound, troopers said.

Stewart, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken to a hospital where he died, troopers said.

The driver of the second pickup suffered minor external injuries, troopers said.
