Flash Flood Watch Continues As Tropical Depression Bill Moves Through OKC Metro

A Flash Flood Watch extending from Ponca City to Oklahoma City to Duncan continues as the remnants of tropical depression Bill sits on top of central Oklahoma Thursday morning.

Satellite radar shows Bill lifting northeast-ward across Central and Eastern Oklahoma. The radar shows scattered rain generally east of the Enid to Lawton line, and some of the rain is heavy.

We have seen over 10 inches of rain in the Arbuckle Mountains.

Temperatures in the Oklahoma City metro start in the upper 60s and low 70s. Hour by hour temperatures will warm from the 70s to near 80 by Thursday afternoon. Rain chances and north winds are diminishing in the metro.

Statewide temperatures are in the 60s and 70s. The strongest winds are across southern in southeast Oklahoma with wind gusting to 30 mph.

Rain chance should diminish overnight. Some areas could pick up an additional one to four inches of rain.
