An Oklahoma Highway Patrol trooper's actions prove being a trooper is not always about working collisions, writing citations, or making arrests.

According to a post on the OHP's Facebook page, Lt. Mike Norman rescued a little fawn Thursday on Broadway Extension and Interstate 44.

The fawn was lying scared in the middle of the ramp and endangered by traffic. Lt. Norman was able to pick it up and release it back into a wooded area to safety, according to the OHP.
