Numu Creek runs right by 24th and Gore. It's one of many tributaries in Lawton that caused major problems late Thursday afternoon.

A Lawton Fire Chief told News 9, first responders conducted as many as 150 water rescues all over town starting at just after 4 p.m. Thursday.

People who were evacuated boarded buses that took them to Lawton High School and will serve as a shelter for now.

Kaylah McCullough lives in a home on 3rd street and I. She's three months pregnant. She had a feeling things were going to get bad when she heard hail hitting the roof.

There's still a lot of concern about more rain.
