EDMOND, Oklahoma - A man was arrested in Edmond, Oklahoma, on complaints of possession and distribution of child pornography.

According to police, 25-year-old Schuyler Dillon Hamilton was arrested at a home in the 3100 block of Talon Road in Edmond following a 2-month long investigation.

On March 6, officers conducted an undercover investigation into the sharing of child porn via the Internet. During the investigation, a computer sharing child pornography was located on a file sharing network. Authorities were able to direct connect with the suspect's computer and download 155 picture files from the suspect using a sharing client.

According to police, the photos show a girl between the ages of 10 and 13 years old posing in various stages of undress. Police said the photos are lewd and lascivious in nature.

Officers were able to link the IP address to a home in the 3100 block of Talon Road in Edmond. On May 11, at about 6:50 a.m., officers served a search warrant at that home and spoke with Hamilton. Hamilton admitted to downloading child porn images via the Internet using a file sharing program. He admitted to actively trying to download images of non-nude girls between the ages of 14 and 16 years old. He said he thought the youngest child pornography images he had downloaded from the internet were approximately 12 to 13 year old females.

Hamilton told police he did not really have an excuse for viewing child porn type material other than stating it was probably most caused by his “curiosity.” He also admitted to masturbating to child porn images that he had downloaded via the internet.

A detective conducted a preliminary on-scene forensic examination of Hamilton's computer and found evidence of explicit child porn images, according to police.

Hamilton was arrested on multiple complaints, including possession of child porn, distribution of child porn, and violating Oklahoma Computer Crimes Act.
