The Oklahoma County DA's office is investigating claims of voter fraud in Luther.

Luther elected their Board of Trustees last month, but now questions have surfaced over absentee ballots cast in the election.

“I check on that myself,” said a Luther resident about the names and addresses he's investigated on the voter rolls.

The man didn't want to reveal his name, but he's contacted the Oklahoma County Board of Elections with his findings. He says of the 22 absentee ballots cast, he's flagged about 14 where something doesn't seem right. His main worry is that non-Luther residents voted.

“Everybody in town knows this person lives in Midwest City,” said the Luther man, about one absentee voter.

News 9 checked out some of the absentee addresses as well and found examples were voters did not live at their listed addresses.

Nine absentee voters had the same listed address, including Ronald Henry, who was one of two winners in the Board of Trustee election on April 7. One of them was arrested for drug possession in Stillwater a week before the election and gave police a Stillwater address.

Henry tells News 9 that person is a student at OSU, and like other members of his family who voted absentee, have lived on and off at his home for years.

Henry also denies another allegation that he personally hand delivered numerous absentee ballots to be notarized. That's illegal.

Two-hundred-fifteen people voted in the election on April 7 in Luther. Henry beat his nearest opponent by 31 votes and says these allegations are an attempt to remove him from the Board of Trustees.
