An armed robbery suspect is on the run Wednesday morning. Police said he held up an Oklahoma City 7-Eleven and fired off shots inside the store before taking off.

It happened just after 1:30 a.m. at the 7-Eleven on S.W. 29th and Blackwelder. Police said a man walked into the store, and then took several items to the register.

When he got there, police said he told the clerk he didn't have enough money to pay for the items.

He then went outside and came back in with a gun.

Police said the suspect demanded money from the clerk, but apparently she wasn't moving fast enough so he fired a shot into a donut display. He managed to get away with money.

Police do not have a good description of the suspect. Anyone with information should call police.
