Organizers for H&8th Night Market and Industry Flea have decided to cancel Friday night's activities due to the potential of severe weather.
“We had a meeting with the National Weather Service this morning about the weather report for tonight. Conditions are primed for severe weather and our attitude has always been safety first,” event manager Brian Bergman said.
“In conjunction with H&8th, the Industry Flea has also decided to cancel Friday night,” Allison Bailey said. “We will be opening on Sunday afternoon from noon to 5 p.m. instead. Our Saturday hours will remain as scheduled, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.”
Industry Flea is an open-air artisan market that takes place on the final Friday and Saturday each month through Sept. at 399 N.W. 10th Street (N.W. 10th and Hudson next to food truck court Bleu Garten).
Presented by Fowler Toyota of Norman and Oklahoma City University School of Law, H&8th Night Market is a monthly, family- and pet-friendly street festival built around a lineup of the city's top gourmet food trucks and live music on the last Friday of each month. The festival takes place between N.W. 6th and N.W. 10th streets along Hudson Avenue in Oklahoma City's Midtown district. There is no cost to attend.
H&8th Night Market will return on May 29.
