Murder Suspect Arrested Following Pursuit In NW OKC
OKLAHOMA CITY - The suspect in a 2014 murder investigation is in custody following a high-speed pursuit that started in Oklahoma City and ended in Bethany on Thursday.
Oklahoma City Police arrested 33-year-old Hugo Gonzalez shortly after he ditched a white Chrysler Sebring on NW 23rd St. at N. Rockwell Ave. in Bethany just after 1 p.m.
Gonzalez had a warrant for First-Degree Murder out for his arrest stemming from an investigation into a male victim found shot to death at a home in the 100 block of SE 34th St. back in September 2014. The victim was identified as 44-year-old Jose Hurtado.
Oklahoma City police officers were involved in the chase.
