Bacon and Blue Cheese Glazed Beef:

1 pound 90% lean ground beef

1 pound 80% lean ground beef

1 onion, chopped

1 green pepper, chopped

4 slices white bread, torn into pieces

3/4 cup milk

2 tablespoon tomato paste


2 teaspoon seasoning salt

1/4 cup brown sugar

1/2 cup ketchup

2 tablespoon Korean Sweet and Spicy sauce

2 slices thick cut bacon, cut in half

1/2 stick unsalted butter

1/2 cup blue cheese

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a bread pan with nonstick cooking spray. Then sprinkle the brown sugar in the bottom of the pan. Pour the ketchup and Korean sauce over the brown sugar and set aside. Place the torn bread and milk in a small bowl to soak. Sauté the onions and peppers in a teaspoon of olive oil till tender.

To make the blue cheese filling simply mix together the blue cheese and butter together till combined.

In a large bowl mix together the ground beef, onions and peppers, soaked bread, seasoning salt, and tomato paste. Place 1/2 of the meat mixture in the bread pan. Now, place the blue cheese mixture down the center of the bread pan. Top with the remaining ground beef mixture. Place the bacon across the top making sure to tuck in the sides. Put the bread pan on a baking sheet and cook for 1 hour in the oven! Remove the loaf from the pan and allow it to cook 10 minutes before slicing.
