Woman Pistol-Whipped During Home Invasion In NW OKC

A woman was pistol-whipped during a home invasion at an apartment complex near NW 36th St. and Meridian overnight. 

The investigation into what happened at the apartment complex is still in the early stages.

Oklahoma police told News 9 that around 2 a.m. four armed men broke into the apartment. Two women were inside and one woman was hit with the gun. The other locked herself in a room and called 911 for help.

Police say the suspects took some items from the apartment, including a Honda Accord. The woman was not hurt too badly.

No word on any suspect descriptions at this point or arrests.
