Coming off a brutal loss at San Antonio on Wednesday, Oklahoma City was hoping to right the ship on the road at Utah Saturday night. Instead, the Thunder's road struggles continued as the Jazz dealt the Thunder a 94-89 loss.

The loss was the Thunder's sixth loss in their last seven road games and left OKC 2.5 games up on New Orleans for the eighth spot in the Western Conference.

It was Enes Kanter's first game back in Salt Lake City being traded to OKC. The Thunder big man made it known during shootaround he was thrilled to be out of Utah and missed nothing but the mountains. The Utah fans let him hear it, constantly booing and heckling him during the game. For the most part, Kanter seemed to enjoy the role of villain, constantly egging the crowd on and encouraging them to make more noise.

Kanter finished with 18 points and 11 rebounds, his eighth straight double-double.

The Thunder's historical problem with turnovers reared its head again on Saturday. Oklahoma City committed 23 turnovers which led to 28 Utah points. It was mainly turnovers that allowed Utah to turn a 16-point second quarter OKC lead into a 13-point fourth quarter Jazz lead. OKC also shot just 5-of-21 from the field in the third quarter and scored just 17 points in the second and third quarters.

Russell Westbrook scored 37 points to lead all scorers but needed 29 shots to do it. He also finished with eight rebounds and six assists, but didn't have a single assist after the first quarter.

Anthony Morrow was the only other OKC player in double figures with 12 points off the bench.

Utah had four players in double figures, led by Trey Burke's 22 points off the bench. The Jazz were able to stifle OKC's ability to attack the rim thanks to the length of Rudy Gobert, who finished with 13 points and 15 rebounds to go with four blocks.

The Jazz also had 16 offensive rebounds, including a couple of crucial ones down the stretch in the fourth quarter when the Thunder had cut the deficit to two points.

The Thunder will look to snap its road losing streak on Sunday when they finish their road trip in Phoenix.
