A man was arrested after leading Logan County deputies on a chase in Edmond, Oklahoma, Wednesday afternoon.

According to the Logan County Sheriff's office, deputies responded to the report of a possible intoxicated and violent suspect in the 2000 block of Silvercrest Drive in Edmond.

As the deputies arrived, authorities said the suspect left the home in a vehicle at a high rate of speed. The driver refused to stop for the deputies. That's when the pursuit began.

The chase went through southern Logan County and into the City of Edmond, according to the Sheriff's office. The suspect vehicle eventually came to a stop due to traffic conditions at Broadway and 2nd Street.

The driver of the vehicle, later identified as 43-year-old Jymie P. Fullerton, was then taken into custody. He's being held on a felony count of eluding. Authorities said he is also under investigation for possible domestic abuse complaints.
