Voters Support Nearly $91 Million Bond For Edmond Public Schools
EDMOND, Oklahoma - Voters supported the Edmond Public Schools bond in Tuesday's election. Results showed 82 percent of voters supported the bond with $88,660,000 and 82 percent of voters also supported the additional bond worth $2,000,000.
The two bonds total about $91 million and will impact nearly every school in the district. Edmond Public Schools officials told News 9 the funding will help add safe rooms to all schools, among many other improvements.
Also in Tuesday's election, Edmond Schools Office 5 was decided by voters. Meredith Exline was declared the winner with 59 percent of the vote.
