Voters Support Nearly $91 Million Bond For Edmond Public Schools

Voters supported the Edmond Public Schools bond in Tuesday's election.

Voters supported the Edmond Public Schools bond in Tuesday's election. Results showed 82 percent of voters supported the bond with $88,660,000 and 82 percent of voters also supported the additional bond worth $2,000,000.

The two bonds total about $91 million and will impact nearly every school in the district. Edmond Public Schools officials told News 9 the funding will help add safe rooms to all schools, among many other improvements.

Also in Tuesday's election, Edmond Schools Office 5 was decided by voters. Meredith Exline was declared the winner with 59 percent of the vote.
